Following God

Matthew 15:3, 8-9

Jesus replied, "And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition?

" 'These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
They worship me in vain;
their teachings are but rules taught by men.' "


Andy's part:
Following God isn't about religion, it's about a relationship. Religion is no substitute for knowing God. Draw close to God and get to know Him.

Catherine's part:

God wants to be our friend. He loves us enough to have that personal relationship, which is pretty incredible. Religion just ties us to rules and regulations, and takes us farther from God.
